(4) Machine configuration

A SHJ-75B twin-screw extruder, length-diameter ratio 44:1; power of the main motor (AC): 132KW (Siemens).

1. SHJ-75 twin-screw metering feeder.

    1) Feeding motor is an AC motor, main feeding motor power: 1.5KW.

    2) Regulating system is Siemens inverter.

    3) Reduction ratio: 17:1

    4) The motor and reduction machine are straightly connected. The feeders with horizontal agitator can steadily feed and not to be bridge formatted. Both the feeder and hopper are stream-lined. 

2. Gearbox

    1) Reduction factor: 3:1

    2) Output shaft rotation speed: MAX500RPM

    3) Input shaft rotation speed:MAX1500RPM

    4) The compact host machine features integrated speed reduction and torque transfer with a design of parallel three axles. NSK bearings are used in reducer, torque transfer device and as the radial bearing in the output shaft.

3. Lubrication oil cooling system

5. Screw

    1) Screw diameter: 71mm

    4) The screw core shaft is made of 40CrNiMoA, and the screw thread components connect with the core shaft in an involute curve, which features high intensity, large load and easy disassembly and assembly.

    5) The screw components are made of high quality high speed tool steel, W6MO5Cr4V2, which receives heat treatment with vacuum hardening at high temperature.

    6) Whole hardness: HRC58~64

6. Charging barrel

    1) The barrel body uses water-cooling and is made of #45 steel, which is lined with alloy bush, barrel length: L=290mm/section, 11 sections in total.

    2) The first cylinder is used for feeding materials barrel, 10th cylinder for vacuum barrel, the 11th cylinder for extrusion.

    3) The other cylinders are of closed mouth type.
